Help! Severe nausea?

I've been suffering from severe nausea for a few months now and i just found out that im HYPOthyrodic...meaning im not producing enough thyroid hormone. Iv been on hormone replacement medicine for a week, which i know isnt enough to notice any major changes, but the nausea jjust seems to be getting WORSE!
i really dont know what to do! Iv tried several different anti-nausea medicines and they just dont work! Iv tried every home remedy i can find like ginger, peppermint, crackers etc. Please any advice on what to do and what could help alleviate the nausea will be most appreciated!

Hi! I'm also very prone to vomitting and used to vomit gatric juice almost every morning previously except that my is found to be not due to thyroid hormone problem after a test. You may try taking Nutrilite range of multi-vitamin, vitamin B complex, Vitamin C, calcium, iron (if not allergic) and protein powder. Very reliable. You can get from Amway distributors. If you are in Singapore, then I may be able to assist. Feel free to contact me if any mroe information is needed with regards to the products as my family has been consuming them to maintain our health.Hope it helps. Wishing you good health.
see your doctor within 24hrs depending on situation
Tell your doctor about your reactions, he may switch you to a different brand with lesser side effects. It is often something that simple, as using a different medication for the same illness. I switched diabetic treatments 3 times before we found a combination that worked.
have you been taking anti nausea medications prescribed by your doctor??or just something over the counter?there are pretty powerful drugs to stop nausea...just contact your doc...and continue yourmedications for hypothyroidism
Nausea but still able to eat? Or not able to hold food or fluids down? Diarrhea? Constipation? Please be re-evaluated by your Dr. I hope you feel better soon. Are you losing weight?
What are you taking for your hypothyroid. Synthroid? Have you called your doctor or pharmacist about the severe nausea it might be the medication. have you had a tsh, t4, t7 drawn to see if the medication is to much or not enough. Please as soon as you wake up call your md make and appt. or go to a urgent care center. It might have nothing to do with your thyroid. If you can't keep anything down you need to be on i.v.'s or you are going to get dehydrated which is not good for someone with your medical condition.
