I have had this little bit of a bulge on the side of my neck ... Someone made the comment the other day that it's not cancer but it's like a cyst... It's not always protruding but it's always there. I went to the doctor and they were no help what so ever.. Gave me muschle relaxers to take 3 times a day... What the heck.. Can't take them when I am working.. Even tried the Chryroprater and he was no help. Any one have any ideas of what it could be or what I could do about the pain and discomfort?

Did your doctor just look at it and didn't do any other test at all to rule out other causes? ... if the answer is no- change your doctor- get a second opinion. It's your right.
if its a cyst you can get it remove. Just go to the doctor to get checked out
When did this pain start? Did you hurt your back or neck in the last few days ?
sounds 2 me like a herniated disc, i have one in L4 n L5.
See another doctor. It is probably a Lipoma, which is a sac of non-cancerous fat/fluid. Sometimes it starts out as a very small lump then grows larger. A lot of people live with it if it does not grow larger, but in cases where it does grow or begins to cause discomfort, it should be removed surgically. It's very simple. The doctor can extract it or use a liposuction type process to eliminate it. Recovery is quick. (outpatient procedure.) Sadly, some doctors miss this and may even ignore it. You shouldn't ignore it if it causes you pain.
There are a couple of questions i need to ask you before i can help you with this problem ..this bulge is it soft or hard? can you move it around? Does it completely go away or does it just swell then get smaller but never goes away..please e-mail me a picture of the growth if you can to roncaron@walla.com the reason you may be getting head aches is if this growth is putting pressure the juggler vein then you can be sure to have some side-effects from this and it could be dangerous if your not getting good blood flow to the brain..some doctors are just completely useless so you may have to go to the emergency department and really complain about it causing you great pain even though it's not just so you can have them take you serious and really look at what this growth is..
