HELP!! docs or nurses !! answer this!?

My boyfriend is peeing blood! :( what could be wrong??
Answer:
He probably has a urinary tract infection (UTI) or a bladder infection. It can be treated with simple anti-biotics but he needs to see a doctor right away before it gets worse.
Go straight to hospital. This is serious.
My friend just had a kidney problem, so it could be a kidney/bladder problem that is causing this. But yeah, she's right, have him go right to the doctor.
Kidney stones, or infection? Need to have a urinalysis done! Good luck
Most probably a urinary tract infection. He needs to have a urine sample tested especially if he has frequency or a burning sensation on passing urine.
Go to the hospital now.
It could be a seriously bad UTI.
A kidney infection.
Or kidney stone.
Or worse.
Go now.
blood in the urine is called
Hematuriaworst case is, if its painless may mean cancer of the bladder..
you have to have your bf's urine tested (its called Urinalysis)
to know what caused it
go to a urologist, they might order an ultrasound or doppler sonography to know it he has kidney stones somewhere in the genito-urinary tractbased on my experience..
what i did was to go to our family doctor, ordered a urinalysis
but there was no evidence of RBCs..
so as a prophylactic treatment or if ever im starting to develop an infection,
i was given co-trimoxazole 1 tab every 6hours.round the clock..for 7daysbut you still have to go to your urologist for prompt treatment
thanks
