HELP! Bloody nose??

My little brother is 9, and he has been having constant nosebleeds. he had one a few days ago, then had another one the day after that, another one a few hours after that, and another one the next day, and another that night. i've given him tips on how to stop the bleeding, but it only stopped 4 like 5 hours, then started again. it stopped, and he hasn't had another, but i just wanna kno what was wrong w/ him, and wat we should do if it starts again. HELP! SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLZ!
Answer:
call his dr - could just be dryness in the nasal passages b/c of weather changes but you should call the dr just to be safe and see what they say. NOTE: if it does start bleeding again, pinch the nose at the bridge, have him lean FORWARD, do not let him lean back and yes i know it appears to slow the bleeding but really all it does is send the blood into his stomach and then he will eventually start throwing up dried and partially dried blood and scare you even more. also put ice in a bag and put it on the back of his neck and on his nose. once the bleeding has stopped do not let him blow his nose as this will most likely remove the clot that has formed and the bleeding will start all over again.
Well i use to have nose bleeds every night if not twice a day, and i finally went to the doctor and i am allergic to cigarette smoke,
go to the doctor he might need surgery, my cousin had the same problem and that helped a lot she barley got them after that
you should go to doctor who will send you to specialist who will seal his nose. i had nose bleeds alot similar to your brother when i was younger and got nose sealed only had one once or twice since and that like over 10 years ago. my mum recently had the same thing and she got it sealed and no complaints since.
sounds like your little bro has sinus problems this time of year is a bad time because of the pollen tell your bro to tilt his head back and to pinch his nose at the very bridge on both sides, get him an ice pack and hold on it for awhile and it will stop the bleeding but it may come back he may need some over the counter sinus relief medicine
u shud see an ENT surgeon, ur bro mus be investigated, for blood coagulation disorders plus maybe a cautery of his nasal septum may be indicated.
WELL FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE BLOODY NOSES ARE GENERALLY CAUSED BY THE SINUSES BEING EXTREMELY DRY. SINCE IT HAS BEEN COLD THAT WOULD MAKE SENSE. YOU SHOULD TAKE HIM TO THE DOCTOR BECAUSE HE COULD HAVE ALLERGIES, ONE OTHER THING MY FIANCE HAS LEUKAEMIA AND IT STARTED WITH RANDOM NOSE BLEEDS. I AM NOT TRYING TO FREAK YOU OUT BECAUSE IT IS A SELDOM CHANCE JUST GET IT CHECKED OUT. GOOD LUCK!!
