How can I break my leg or arm?

Please don't laugh but I need to get out of my dancing lessons for a few weeks! lol. How could I do it with out anyone suspecting that I did it on purpose?
Thanx
Answer:
Spraining your foot would be a lot better. or create some kind of foot problem. You don't need to break any bones. Lots of other options available.
Just tell your parents or someone you don't want to dance anymore.
Don't break your leg or arm!Simply tell your parent or guardian you don't want to takedance for a bit - ask nicely.
Wouldn't just playing sick be easier--and less painful? It's not hard to fake a fever, headache, stomach ache, sore throat etc.I broke my arm, at age 9, when playing punchball--I was tripped by another player. My mom broke an arm and a leg, at around the same age, while roller skating.
You REALLY don't want to do that. Not only is it painful, but there can (and generally are) permanent injuries when a bone is broken. You may not be able to dance ever again, and this will affect your life forever, even if it's just a small break. If you're having a problem with your dance lessons, either quit or switch to a new dance school.
Wow. You need help. As in therapy/counseling.Here's an idea. Just say "I don't want to go to dance class." See.isn't that amazing? And you don't have to do something so INSANE as purposely hurting yourself.
Sounds to me that if you need to get out of your dancing lessons for a few weeks, you should be responsible and step up to the plate and tell whomever it is you are trying to deceive why it is that you need out of these lessons.
Injuring yourself on purpose to get out of doing something is absolutely asinine and is completely self destructive both physically and mentally.
I don't know what your reasons are, but clearly you are very serious about wanting out of these dance lessons. If you are brave enough to injure yourself, be brave enough to be a stand up person and do what is right and stand up for yourself and just tell whomever it is that you need time off for a few weeks.
fall down a cement flight of steps
You're insane and widely immature.
jump down 2nd flat. But be careful.you can be finished dancing eternally.
Broken bones can permanently disfigure your body..besides I dont think the PAIN is worth it!
Please don't do that. You could have all kinds of complications, including that you might never be able to walk or dance again. If you really need to get out of dancing lessons, just say so! Or if you can't, come up with some other excuse. But, please, for your own good, don't break your arm or leg.
just fall, or tell your parents, get someone to push u off of something
Oh my gosh don't try to break your arm or leg! Uhh just work at preschool like me and you will catch a cold from the kids in a few minutes and I'm sure your teacher or parents will let you rest after you start coughing and sneezing..ok that wasn't a good answer. But as many people would say, and I know you already know this but I will just say it anyways, don't try to break your arm or leg, I'm sure trying to break your arm or leg just a little bit could do a lot of damage to it. Just be honest.and talk to your parents or teacher about why you don't want to go to dance class if you can...or if someone else has a better answer besides breaking your leg or arms or hurting yourself in any other way, then try that. Just don't purposely hurt yourself!
Just say no to dancing lessons if you don't want them for a few weeks. Breaking your arm or leg could turn out to be an injury that could affect you the remainder of your life; not to mention the horrible pain you'll go through. I just isn't worth it. Again, just don't attend the dancing classes. That would a much easier and safer way to accomplish getting out of them.
Try Riding a bike down the stairs

How can i break my arm?

Im not doing it for attention! Im 13 and i really really wanna break it.
Answer:
Munchausen syndrome is a condition in which a person intentionally fakes, simulates, worsens, or self-induces an injury or illness for the main purpose of being treated like a medical patient. Persons with Munchausen syndrome intentionally cause signs and symptoms of an illness or injury by inflicting medical harm to their body, often to the point of having to be hospitalized. These persons are sometimes eager to undergo invasive medical interventions. They are also known to move from doctor to doctor, hospital to hospital, or town to town to find a new audience once they have exhausted the workup and treatment options available in a given medical setting. Persons with Munchausen syndrome may also make false claims about their accomplishments, credentials, relations to famous persons, etc.A related condition, called Munchausen by proxy syndrome, refers to a caregiver who fakes symptoms by causing injury to someone else, often a child, and then wants to be with that person in a hospital or similar medical setting.
Ur a ******* crazy ******
Get 1 on 1 counselling.

I wanted to break my arm to get out of swimming of PE. =] I just brought in a letter excusing me from the whole swimming unit! :-) x
umm ok.
you could fall of a slide, thats how i broke my arm..
Why would you want to break your arm? Are you EMO or something? What the hell is wrong with you??? So, your 13, breaking it is not going to get you anywhere.
jump off a wall and land on it
fall out of a tree and land on it
get someone to run it over with their bike.I wanted to break my arm too when i was 13, i never managed it, my brother was forever coming home with broken bones, but then he skateboarded and bmx-ed, I suck on a skateboard and never move more than a foot before i just fall off(!)
YOU ARE VERY SILLY TO THINK THIS!! THINK TOO OF THE EXPENSE TO YOUR PARENTS. GROW UP!! I HOPE YOU HAVE BETTER COMMON SENSE BY THEN.
Why on earth would you want to break your arm?! Anyway, although I'm not sure why, my friend broke it by falling down a flight of stairs and my other friend broke her arm by going on a zipline thing, falling off and twisting her arm backwards. I REALLY don't think this is a good idea. Not only is it painful, but it also is really expensive to get fixed, and very stressful, not to mention that your arm gets really itchy under that cast, and you can't itch it!! Anyway, hope this helps, whatever you need it for...:-)
Well looks like you got all that unwanted attention. You need a good butt kicking.
Why would you want to hurt yourself. I think you need to talk to your parents and let them take you for psychiatric evaluation.
Tell your parents. They should find counseling for you. It's not normal to want to break your own bones.
shouldn't you be asking this in the 'mental health' section?

How can i break my arm?

Answer:
stupid question
armbar!
why in the world would you want to go through the pain of having a broken arm? that is really really stupid. maybe you need to be more concerned with having your head examined.
hit the forearm wiht something hard and heavy, amke sure you have a good insurance plan
Now..Why Would You Want To Do That.If Your Wanting To Get Out Of A Sport Then Wrap It In a Bandage %26 Say You've Sprained It.
why the hell would you want to break your arm?
Why would you want to break your arm? That is a stupid question.
call your doc you need help
jump out of a tree!
Why? Planning on some kind of insurance fraud?
A straight fall from standing. Your arms outstretched, land on them. You will often break your forearm. That's called a Colles fracture.
I'll do it, and I'll also throw in some sever head trauma(you sound like you either need it or have already had it, but need more of it), all for the right fee of course.
i see everyone asking why and just a few have an answer...
i guess a fast action would be the best but i would never do this...
my advice is to do it on your own and not with help, cause you're the only one to say when it's enough
anyway, good luck with it
you must be bored right? if you really want to know i can give you lots of ways to break your arm a nurse at health center here.. so i ll try and see if i can give you some ways... make sure you have good insurance first. or move to canada, where i live .. insurance is in your taxes.. here goes.. you could throw yourself down a flight of stairs, you could get someone to twist it , you could break it the way i did,, roller blading, you could jump in front of a bus, tain, or car, you could ask someone to beat the crap out of you, or you could get drunk(although doesnt sound like your old enough) and fall all over the place.. .. the list goes on and on.. but i think your very immature to want to actually inflict pain like that on yourself.. but sometimes thats how we learn.. so good luck whichever method you choose...
Why would you WANT to?
jump off a building
that a weird question

How can i break my ankle or foot to get a cast?

i want to break my foot, ankle or leg to get a cast on it, i want a cast on my leg bad, can anyone tell me how to injure it so that i can get one?
Answer:
What are you, a little Kid!? It will hurt all the time like you broke it again when you get older, and not even that much older. It will cost your parents money, take time away from those that really need care, and supplies. Live naturally and you will eventually break something. If you are young you should already know that racing on skates, skate boarding tricks, especially when you don't do it well, skiing is a good way to do it. But don't do it. You also can get like sick from your bone breaking if a little pieces of it break off and get into the blood system, it will make you a bit crazy. Or it might be little cells of some kind that arise from a broken bone healing. There also is the risk of losing the limb, infection, permanant loss of use or limited use. It will be forever weaker.
Fall out of a tree. You might die but you will die with a cast on. Go skiing. Especially if you can't ski.
threw something heavy on ur little finger. try to cool it before not to hurt so much. what do u wanna get? best answer?
Is this a joke? people who have had a broke ankle or leg will tell you the pain is always there and most times arthritis sets in and the chances of breaking it again is increased, find some sensible way to fake it, wear a ace wrap loose not too tight and not for long lengths of time.
Weird wish, if I may say so. You expect good answers here?
Why do you have such a self-destructive nature?
you're really lame, seriously why the f--k would you wanna hurt yourself? talking from current experice, it is not fun at all. not being able to walk sucks. you must be really messed up in the head to want a broken foot/leg/ankle "so bad". I D I OT .

How can I become more tolerant to pain?

Answer:
I like the other answers too but I have learned (with back pain and other problems) to do dissociation. I try to think of other things to get it off my mind.
It is like to having a baby and they tell you to concentrate on a fixture on the wall and breath.
It has helped me a lot.
meditation, medication, repetition, desensitization
umm, only way I know is experience...I've had migraines fairly regularly all my life; I have a pretty average pain threshold but my tolerance is higher than seems to be normal... there's probably a level of influence on pain tolerance that's more genetic than anything else, too.my sister's a nurse, so are a few friends of mine; they'll tell you that if you're in pain, the best way to manage it is an appropriate dosage of an equally appropriate medication, as soon as you begin to feel the pain... if you let the pain develop it'll take a higher dosage to take just the edge off than it otherwise would to control it completely.

How can i avoid catching a cold beforei have a rhinoplasty?

I am having a septo-rhinoplasty around July but am worried that i may catch a cold near the time! (They won't perform op if i did)I am pretty prone to this so what can i do to reduce the chances of catching a virus of any sort, and how long before the operation do i need to do this?Thank YouHayley :-)
Answer:
You avoid a cold for this the same way you avoid it any other time. The principal vectors of the cold germ is surface (touching) and air contact (breathing it in). Stay away from crowded and confined situations, and avoid contacting surfaces in public. Frequent hand washing is also a good idea. No guarantees here, but good luck.Oh, and forget vitamins and all that. They may help you recover but they won't shut down the germ or make you immune.A better idea is to find some flexibility with scheduling the procedure so you cancall for it while you know you are well.
Try and avoid being in enclosed places with lots of people, probably for a week before your operation. Good luck
Hi Hayley not.. The Hayley Turner? There is no way to avoid it if that cold virus decides to hone in on you. However you could take vitamin C%26D supplements as a possible preventative measure.
Use that stuff thats called first response. You spray up your nostrils,it costs about 拢5 but I swear it worked for me,the whole family had colds and I used the stuff and didnt catch it.
You can't. It's a virus. And it has no cure.I say, drink lots of orange juice and take Vitamin C every day to maintain a strong immune system. If you do come down with a cold, reschedule your rhinoplasty. Your health is more important than a nose job, dear.
discuss all of your concerns with your surgeon.

How can avoid being drowsy?

I'm a college student, i volunteer part time, and i work part time (on call) and i always feel sleepy...i haven't worked out in a while because it's weird for my schedule...i wake up, eat, and i'm afraid of working out after eating because i'll get stomach cramps. I drink green tea every morning and i live in a place where there's no sunlighthow do i stay awake - without being too tired and worn on? I noticed that the earlier i wake up and do things, the more i'll be mentally awake - compared to waking up around 9 a.m. and just having all that extra time. Advice?
Answer:
are you drinking plenty of water? honestly, water is not only good for your body because your body is mostly made up of water, but it gives you the energy to go on ... maybe you're just not drinking enough. you should be drinking AT LEAST 64 oz a day! drinking teas or energy drinks or supplements or anything is not good enough if you're not giving your body water. it's really that simple sometimes. and you need to get plenty of sleep, too, and exercise. these combined w/ a healthy diet should help tremendously!
