Answer:
nick you most likely over did a muscle or a ligament. for starters, if there is no other medical problems known, you can take ibuprofen 200 mg pills (available over the counter) about three of those at a time every 6-8 hours as needed. be careful not to take those on an empty stomach, always take them with food or a snack. Do not take things like aspirin, naproxen etc with it. You can take tylenol/panadol.acetamenophin. Safe practice is to consult the pharmacist for any new medicine and let them know what else you are taking. I would strongly suggest to see a physician if symptoms were to persist or worsen or if any new symptoms develope, good luck

  1. You should really go to your doctor and report your health complaints such as hip pains. You should also know that hip pain is a common problem among teenagers. According to a 2005 study published in “Acta Paediatrica,” nearly 7 percent of adolescents experience hip pain. The causes of hip pain range from mild to serious. Adolescent hip pain is more common in females, smokers and teens who consume alcohol. Regarding hip-related medical operations, there are a number of people around the world who have been victimized by defective hip replacement devices such as the ones manufactured by DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc. It is a subsidiary company of Johnson&Johnson. Legal professionals say that several clients have initiated court actions against Johnson and Johnson. They were among those affected by the failures and defects (e.g. fractures, displacements, loosening) of DePuy devices. In 2010, the DePuy Hip Replacement Recall was finally implemented, after data revealed that the devices had failed prematurely in one out of eight people who have them.

  2. The worst thing you can do is to self medicate yourself over a research that you have done over the internet. Maybe you should just take a break from your regular activities and see if it gets better. The right course of action is to talk to a doctor about your symptoms. He can investigate your condition further and advice you with further action. If you have a hip problem it is better to be diagnosed with early. Although it is true that hip replacement surgery is usually performed on older patients it is not uncommon among younger people to need hip surgery. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to do some research about some hip implant recalls if you ever going to need surgery, but don't run ahead of our-self's.
Visit your doctor, and keep us posted about the development regarding this matter.
